Causes of Candida

Candida is a digestive issue. Everyone has a farm of bacteria in their digestive tract. When it is left alone, it works wonders.

There is good bacteria and bad bacteria. They each have their job when they stay in proper proportions.

Antibiotics and high sugar diets both allow for the overabundance of the bad bacteria. Antibiotics kill a high portion of your digestive bacteria. When you are done with the antibiotics, the bad bacteria tends to grow and flourish faster than the good. Then the yeast will grow out of control and leave the intestinal tract. The results can be any of the symptoms above.

If you have some of the symptoms and your saliva test came out positive, see Candida Treatments for more information.
