Fibromyalgia Recommendations

The ideal program for Fibromyalgia includes some of the following recommendations. It takes a while to change from the average modern lifestyle to living a natural, healthy lifestyle.

If you are ready to make that change, if you are ready to feel better and live better, you must take the time to learn. The first thing you should do is watch a few movies about health. The most recommended movies can be watched instantly or within a day from Netflix or Blockbuster online. They will overnight them to you for free.They are generally aimed at and speaking about cancer but the treatment for fibromyalgia is the same in this case.

There are various ways to build up our bodies. As a naturopath, I am foremost a nutritionist. The body can do amazing things if it has the tools (most of which are the size of a molecule) that it needs. They are mostly found in fruits and vegetables.

Before discussing these nutrients further, be sure you are also doing the following a little at a time. Do not make too many changes all at once. Make one to two major changes per week.

Diet & Nutrition: Remove junk foods (like cookies and chips) and processed foods (like white bread). Avoid fast food.

• Remove soda from your diet.

• The best foods are those that you cook on the stove or oven from scratch or eat raw. Memorize this list: Fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, leafy greens, whole grains, seeds and nuts.

Use Xylitol as your sweetener. Also safe for Diabetics. Do not use artificial sweeteners.


• Avoid the use of the microwave.


Quit your job! You may think I'm joking but I'm not. Many jobs aggravate fibromyalgia more than they are worth. Find a way to make a living that will not ruin your life. You will need to be able to control your hours and your physical requirements on the job.


Get adequate sleep - that's 8-9 hours per night. And try not to sleep more than that. It can irritate Fibromyalgia to get too little or too much.

• EMFs: Keep all items that have ElectoMagnetic Frequencies at least 6 feet away from your bed. They can disturb your sleep. That includes alarm clocks, cell phones and anything plugged in.


Exercise at least 4 times per week for at least a half an hour. Some light weightlifting is extremely helpful for keeping the muscles strong. Also cardiovascular exercise will help clean your lymph system and get oxygen to your muscles. Alternate the two. Build up slowly.


Ergonomics: Be sure your work station is set up to work with your body and not against it.


Flush the toxins out of your body one organ at a time.You may not need to do all of the recommendations on the list. Contact me if you would like personalized assistance.


Drink distilled water. There are 10 types of water to drink. Distilled is the best. Add trace minerals to it.


pH Balance: Check your pH to see if you are too acid or too alkaline.


Candida: See if you have yeast overgrowth. It is very common and will irritate Fibromyalgia symptoms if it is an issue. It can be kept under control.


Enzyme therapy: Enzymes are the single most important thing you can do to improve your diet.


Supplement Recommendations

We live in a time when food has become a big business. It is being grown in the same soil each year. So the soil has very little left to give as far as nutrition.Our food has only a small fraction of the nutrients that food had a hundred years ago.

That has lead many to acquire vitamin and mineral deficiencies. So supplementation recommendations has become a necessity.


Magnesium: Since magnesium is the mineral that feeds the muscles I have found that, anyone with fibromyalgia, needs to add Fibralgia to the Super Trio right up front. Don't wait for the 3 months to end. I find that if I take it on an empty stomach with CoQ10, I can feel my my muscles release within 20 minutes. This is one of my top recommendations.


Probiotics - Get a formula with over 6 billion microorganisms in each capsule. We recommend one that has eleven different types of flora to help reestablish the proper balance of bacteria in the intestinal tract. Some of the biggest culprits for throwing off the balance of good and bad bacteria are antibiotics and Splenda.


GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is an amino acid that plays a role in neurotransmitter and brain activity. It supports brain and nerve metabolism, normalizes nervous system function and promotes a greater sense of relaxation and peace. This is a synergistic formula with spirulina and other ingredients for the optimal benefit.


Colostrum regenerates and accelerates the normal growth of aged or injured muscle, bone, cartilage, skin collagen and nervous tissues. It regulates neurotransmitters, providing alertness and better concentration. A lot of research has been done showing successful results with Lupus and other auto-immune disorders. Ionic Minerals: Remember that each system in the body needs different minerals.
