Causes of Extreme Fatigue

There is an endless list of the causes of extreme fatigue. It seems a lot of the clients I see with this problem really need to get more sleep. No amount of nutrition will make you energetic and lively if you don't get enough sleep. See a list of tips for getting more sleep.

But if you do get enough sleep and still you are suffering with fatigue, here is a little checklist of things to review.

1. Energy begets energy. This means that sometimes if you can rouse yourself up to get moving, walking, cleaning the house, etc, you may get more energy. Are you getting enough exercise?

2. Are you drinking enough water?

3. Are you eating a well-balanced diet with plenty of fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, leafy greens, whole grains, seeds and nuts?

4. Even eating a 'perfect' diet (which does not exist in this society), our imperfect bodies often do not properly metabolize and assimilate the foods we eat. So we need enzymes to help break down the nutrients from our foods to a usable cellular level.

5. Do you live a high-stress life? Emotional and mental stress keep the adrenal glands working overtime. When they try to quit, many resort to caffeine and other uppers to keep them going. That stresses the adrenal glands even more. Then the other glands, such as the thyroid, will not work properly as well. Stress causes a depletion of your B vitamins. Test your body systems, including your endocrine and nervous systems with this health analysis or do a complete assessment with Sunclick.

6. I recommend a good antioxidant too. If you are suffering with unknown causes of extreme fatigue, your body is likely toxic. You can do a cleanse and be sure to eat foods that are high in antioxidants.

7. Fatty acids and other vitamins and minerals are an important part of everyone's diet. Unfortunately, since we are not getting them in our diets with our depleted foods, it is necessary to supplement.

If you use supplements, be extremely careful that you are using a company that has a quality assurance program in place. That is why I use Nature's Sunshine. They lead the industry in quality assurance. If a company is doing the necessary testing, they will brag about it. If they don't, don't use them.

A few people have told me that they just cannot swallow pills. If that is the case, you may want to try Solstic. It is an excellent supplement. It is very affordable. Drink it instead of sugary drinks or those full of dangerous chemicals. It can actually help you reach the source of your causes of extreme fatigue rather than giving you artifical energy that will drain you further.

I do recommend this drink mix for anyone that has trouble taking supplements. It provides 100% or more of the Daily Value of 18 vitamins and minerals. It is convenient, portable and easy to use. It offers the important antioxidants lutein and lycopene.
